1. General Policy Statement

All wholesale sales are considered final. DAX Eyewear does not offer "guaranteed sales" or "memo billing." Returns are only accepted for manufacturer defects or shipping errors, provided they meet the criteria outlined below.

2. Inspection & Reporting Window

To maintain the integrity of our supply chain, partners must inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival.

  • Damage/Shortage Claims: Must be submitted in writing within 5 business days of delivery.

  • Manufacturer Defects: Must be reported within 15 business days of delivery.

  • Hidden Defects: For items with internal components, claims must be made within 60 days, supported by consumer feedback or internal testing logs.

3. Return Authorization (RA) Process

No returns will be accepted without a formal Return Authorization (RA) Number.

  1. Submit a request via email with the original Invoice Number and photos of the issue to zoe@daxeyewear.com.  Returns submitted through the retail stores returns portal will not be accepted.

  2. Once approved, a Return Authorization Number will be provided. The RA number must be clearly marked on the outside of all return packaging.

  3. Unauthorized returns will be refused at the warehouse and returned to the sender at their expense.

 


 

4. Fraud Prevention & Quality Control

To protect against fraudulent returns or "swapping" (returning old/counterfeit stock for new credit):

  • Original Packaging: Items must be in their original, individual retail packaging and, if applicable, unmarred master cartons. 

  • Serial Verification: We verify all returned units against the batch/serial numbers recorded at the time of original shipment.

  • Restocking Fees: Any non-defective return approved as a courtesy will be subject to a 25% Restocking Fee plus the cost of original and return freight.

5. Large-Volume Return Protections

To prevent "Inventory Dumping" (where a wholesaler returns bulk stock because they over-ordered or are closing a location):

  • The 10% Cap: DAX Eyewear will not accept returns or exchanges exceeding 10% of the customer's total trailing 12-month purchase volume, regardless of the reason.

  • Seasonal Items: Returns are strictly prohibited on seasonal, limited-edition, or "Closeout" SKUs.

 


 

6. Resolution & Credit

Approved returns will be resolved at the discretion of DAX Eyewear via:

  1. Replacement: Shipping the identical SKU at no cost.

  2. Repair: Remediation of the product if economically viable.

  3. Credit Memo: A credit applied to the Wholesaler’s account for use on future orders. No cash or wire refunds will be issued.

 


 

7. Shipping & Liability

  • The Wholesaler is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a DAX Eyewear shipping error (wrong SKU sent).

  • We recommend using a trackable carrier with insurance. DAX Eyewear is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.

Legal Disclaimer: By placing a wholesale order, the Buyer agrees to these terms. DAX Eyewear reserves the right to terminate wholesale privileges for any account exhibiting a high return-to-sales ratio or fraudulent claim patterns.
