We want you to love your DAX Eyewear — but if something’s not quite right, we’ve got your back.

Here’s how our return and exchange process works.
Return & Exchange Window
You have 60 days from your order date to request a return or exchange.
Sunglasses must be unworn and in like-new condition. You’re welcome to try them on, but once they’ve been used (think: scratched, stretched, or worn outside), we can’t accept them.
What’s Eligible
- Sunglasses and Accessories: Can be returned or exchanged if unused
What’s Not Eligible
- Hats: Final Sale Item
We prefer items to be returned in their original packaging.
Exchanges
- We allow one exchange per item
- We cover the cost of shipping your new pair

Refunds
- Refunds go to your original payment method (Shopify handles the processing)
- If you purchased from a boutique or retail store, we can offer store credit or an exchange
- No restocking fees
- Refunds are typically issued within 24–48 hours of receiving your return (excluding weekends)
DAX Eyewear "Buy More, Save More" Return Policy
We want you to absolutely love your DAX Eyewear! If you purchased sunglasses under our "Buy More, Save More" bundles (1 for $49, 2 for $65, or 3 for $85) and need to return part of your order, your refund is simply calculated based on the standard pricing for the pairs you decide to keep.
A quick note about the free gift: If you purchased 3 pairs, you might have received a free gift valued at $15! Because this gift is a special perk for our 3-pair bundle, dropping below 3 pairs means the gift will need to be returned too. If you'd rather keep it, no problem at all—we will just deduct the $15 value from your refund.Here is a friendly breakdown of how partial refunds work:
- Bought 3 pairs ($85) and returning 1: You are keeping 2 pairs (priced at the $65 tier). Your product refund is $20 if you send back the free gift, or $5 if you choose to keep the gift.
- Bought 3 pairs ($85) and returning 2: You are keeping 1 pair (priced at the $49 tier). Your product refund is $36 if you send back the free gift, or $21 if you choose to keep the gift.
- Bought 2 pairs ($65) and returning 1: You are keeping 1 pair (priced at the $49 tier). Your product refund will be $16.
- Returning your entire order: Send everything back (including the free gift!) for a full refund of your total amount paid. If you choose to keep the free gift, we will just deduct $15 from your refund.
Prefer to swap your shades? > DAX Eyewear always offers free exchanges! If a pair isn't the perfect fit, we will gladly exchange it for another style at no extra cost to you, keeping your original bundle pricing—and your free gift—completely intact.
Return Shipping
We will provide you with a free return shipping label via email.

Our returns are currently handled manually — if you’re emailing us for a return, we’ll provide you with the Return Label.
If you choose to send your items back before emailing us, please know your refund could experience significant delays. The Return address is as follows:

Please provide your order number and/or email address as we'll need to contact you upon receiving your item(s).
Proof of Purchase
Please provide your order number and email address. If you don’t have those handy, we can usually look up your order by name.

We get it — life happens. That’s why every pair of DAX Eyewear is backed by our Risk-Free Guarantee:
If your sunglasses are lost, broken, or stolen within 1 year of purchase, we’ll replace them — no hassle, no drama.
What’s Covered
Our 1-Year Risk-Free Guarantee includes:
- Accidental damage (scratches, cracks, breaks)
- Lost or stolen sunglasses
- Manufacturer defects (hinges, lenses, nose pieces, etc.)
What’s Not Covered
We want to take care of you — but there are a few fair-use limits:
- Style swaps - See our Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges Policy
- More than one replacement per item
- Orders outside the U.S.
This is a one-time replacement per item and does not extend to repeat claims unless the issue is a manufacturing defect.
How to File a Claim
Just send us an email at hello@daxeyewear.com with the following:
- Your order number (or the boutique name if you purchased in-store)
- A short description of what happened
- A photo of the sunglasses (if you still have them)
Don’t have a receipt? No problem — we’ll do our best to verify your purchase based on the style and boutique name.
